RAMPING UP
Have you noticed how summer is racing along?  Schools are opening up, kids are off to college.  When that happens, it is time to ramp up the effort for the election!
The races for Governor, Senate, and Congress feature clear choices this year. Our State House candidates need your support to make a successful run.
The Onoroto campaign and the PA Democratic Party are working together, and their York County kick-off will be this Saturday.  You are invited to help!      

CAMPAIGN KICK-OFF  
 
The PA Democratic Party's Coordinated Campaign kicked off this weekend.  It's not too late to come out and support the entire ticket as we continue our neighbor to neighbor contact.

New State Committee Member

The South Central Caucus of the PA Democratic Party met in Carlisle yesterday, Saturday Aug 21.  The caucus is comprised of the State Committee members from Lebanon, Dauphin, Perry, Cumberland, Adams, Franklin and York counties.  
 
One of the agenda items was the election of two female at-large members to the State Committee.  (At-large seats were awarded to each of the State Committee's eight Regional Caucuses in order to maintain the gender-balance across the entire State Committee.)
  
South Central Caucus members elected Sylvia Waters of Swatara Twp, Dauphin County and Pat Wallace of York Township, York County to fill those two seats.  As per our county committee's bylaws Pat will hold a voting seat on the DPOYC Executive Committee effective immediately.
 
Many of you already know Pat.  She has been an active volunteer for the DPOYC over the last several years.    

You can do it!
 
A great way to help candidates is to hold a house party to help them meet voters and raise funds.  We have "how to" guides and some serious partiers...we mean people who have hosted house parties... who can help you hold a fun, successful event.  Congressional candidate Ryan Sanders and all of our State House candidates (Rep Eugene DePasquale, Linda Small, Metta Barbour, Eric Wolfgang, Curt Kann and Mike Strausbaugh) would love to have you host a house party.  Please contact the candidates or headquarters at 812-1200 to find out more!

Exercise, work out and help our candidates  
Our candidates for U.S. Senate, Joe Sestak, and Governor, Dan Onorato, don't miss a beat and are campaigning across PA.  Ryan Sanders, our candidate for Congress, is doing the same in the 19th Congressional district. We've got a great summer-fall exercise program!  We can get you out on hills for a great cardio workout, or flatter areas for toning and maintenance.  Just call us and we'll give you lists of voters to talk to.  Exercise in between conversations as you go door to door.  Remember to catch your breath if you've chosen our cardio areas...don't want to scare your voter.
